When I was in the military, my nickname was the “why guy.” No matter what I was asked to do, I would look inquisitively and ask, “why?”. I always wanted to understand the larger goal to find a better solution. After ten years as a data scientist, I am now sharing my experience with enterprises. I show how the latest AI technologies from companies like DataRobot, Snorkel AI, and Hugging Face can provide value to enterprises. I like wearing multiple hats, whether it is being an evangelist, a sales engineer, a solutions architect, or a machine learning engineer. My focus is working on sales/GTM teams for the most revolutionary AI products. I have a knack for explaining how complex technical tools can solve the most significant problems within enterprises. During my time at DataRobot, we truly 10X as a company, and I moved from field sales to leading enablement for hundreds of data scientists. At Snorkel, I was part of the founding GTM team. My accomplishments as a data scientist have produced impressive financial rewards, patents, and publications. I have helped companies return millions of dollars of value, trained hundreds of data scientists, and solved problems across many verticals using simple interpretable models to complex multimodal deep learning models. Through it all, I excel at articulating the value of data science within an enterprise. I shine as a communicator of my findings, whether by publications, presenting, or talking to the press. I have published in leading computer science, law, and communications journals. I have delivered over a hundred talks, including keynotes, taught several classes, participated in local meetups (co-organizer for the Chicago Tensorflow meetup), and am a social influencer for data science through Tik Tok, Youtube, LinkedIn, and Medium.
