Starting out as a engineer in National Geographic building out animal borne data collection systems in an era where solid state is still experimental and using EEPROM's to serialize data in a small package, I have always enjoyed solving tomorrow's problem today. A quest that led me through a consulting period where I was fortunate ehough to build a large consulting practice to solve the problems for customers be it insurance companies merging or banking loan systems that's broken. In pursuit of family time I joined Microsoft in 2008 after I got married. A new journey that greatly helped me be who I am today.. Joining Microsoft, I learnt to influence the dynamics of a global company and realize what it means to impact a global customer base, going from working on commercial reporting building teams to working in Xbox One, Surface teams into building weather experiences for MSN, Bing and Cortana answers, Windows Security and antimalware world to now in Azure special compute. I truly enjoy giving back, a lot of leaders helped me with perspective, views and shaped me into who I am, and I enjoy working with others who were in the same place I used to be years ago. I enjoy working with variety of people from new product managers to seasoned people managers with a strong emphasis on personal direction in life and I also enjoy building new teams, taking the team to new heights and collectively realize growth. I always welcome roles that help me expand my executive maturity. Principles that I follow include work hard, enjoy your work, deliver strong results and build people along the way. Great people make great companies.
