Bio

I am educated as a dentist with a specialization in dental public health and public health sciences.For more than a decade, I have been working as a health research project coordinator for European Union-funded grants. I have extensive experience in coordinating transnational global health research consortia, leading communication teams, and overseeing the management of large complex projects. I am experienced in providing strategic advice and guidance to scientific coordinators of EU-funded projects. I consult the research community about collaborative Horizon Europe grant proposals - both pre-award, and post-award preparations. I work with the European Commission, and World Health Organisation as an expert evaluator for collaborative grant proposals. I teach about global health and sustainable development to various professional (and student) groups and lecture internationally. I am committed to influencing professionals across disciplines to explore and join the health arena to work collectively toward improving the well-being of our Planet. I am most comfortable working with teams from diverse cultures and contexts across the globe keeping the focus on inclusion, equity, and belongingness. I am a Generalist - passionate about walking the talk, sharing knowledge, learning by doing, exploring partnerships, and developing and delivering projects…that conjointly are processes for facilitating Prosperity, Peace, and Change.
