Ram designs and builds digital solutions and IoT platform that leverages the power of cloud and edge, to process billions of telemetry data points every day, enabling business customers with actionable insights, in a secured, reliable manner. He is an inventor and holds an USA patent in IoT device onboarding space. In his current role, he is responsible for the strategic planning and leads the roadmap of the IoT platform that serves the engineering community in Walmart Global Technology. He defines the specification for IoT devices, covering security, network and information models. Ram is responsible for architecture and design of services and components that offer reliability and acceleration, for building IoT solutions. He provides leadership oversight Edge engineering team that provides IoT Edge capability across 5000+ on-premise sites. He is a core member in the architecture council that helps shape the technology strategy for the enterprise. Prior to joining Walmart, Ram was a consulting architect helping enterprise customers being successful in their cloud migration plans, cloud application design and cloud deployment plans. Ramanujan specializes on architecture and design of cloud native IoT solutions.
