As CSO & COO for Clear Labs, I lead the vision and strategy for talented teams of dedicated scientists and engineers who make life healthier through genomics and intelligent analytics. From a leadership perspective, I prioritize team culture and empower my team members to maximize their talents and push the bounds of what's possible. As a scientist and researcher, I have deep insights into the world of health, biotechnology, and next-generation sequencing. I continue to contribute to academia as an adjunct faculty member at Rutgers University. I want to leave a legacy by raising the world's population's quality of life and health. Through my work at Clear Labs, we have made a significant impact on food safety. I aim to expand that impact by using my skills to improve clinical and pharmaceutical genomics and their effectiveness in public health. Career Highlights: • I manage 40 people at Clear Labs, which is about half of the company, across multiple divisions: Assay Development, Bioinformatics & Data Science, Regulatory Affairs, Automation & Robotics, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain and Manufacturing, and Reagents & Consumables. • My scientific background, familiarity with regulatory affairs, athletic soul, and leadership capabilities have enabled me to bring value to Clear Labs. I led the team that launched the fully automated pathogen detection platform using next-generation sequencing, among my most notable accomplishments. • I regularly present research findings and advocate for Clear Labs' technological strengths through publications and conferences. Clear Labs' IP portfolio, which I lead, comprises a dozen issued and filed patents. • I was honored to receive the Best Teacher Award at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, where I worked hard to connect with, inspire, and empower students. • A sports enthusiast to the core, I am a judoka (third black belt in judo) and a USA National Referee.
