I am an experienced technology professional with a passion for all aspects of software development and technical project management, software architecture, design in the form of standards and conceptual workflow procedures, transforming into business systems and development. I have 13 plus years in the software industry - more than 8 of those managing people and projects. • Over 8 years’ experience in managing and leading projects. • Over 13 years of software development experience at start-ups as well as industry-leading companies such as TCS, Microsoft and Intuit. • Proven experience with development methodologies such as traditional SDLC and agile (scrum). • Led and oversaw complete development life cycle from requirements analysis, to site rollout, maintenance and post production support. • Collaborated with others across the Intuit enterprise including product managers, architects, program managers and other development teams. • Trained and mentored the team to become more effective developers and team leaders. • Responsible for managing a team of fulltime and contract employees consisting of .NET engineers, Java engineers. • Work with off-shore development teams and have excellent communication skills with multi-cultural team members. • Perform project management functions including: • estimating, planning and resource allocation • tracking on cost basis and against milestones • communicating status and course correcting • Involved in software design, development, code reviews, consensus building and tie breaking. • Extensive experience in web applications and web services in both JAVA and .NET environments. • Responsible for motivating, guiding and career management. • Lead process improvement efforts. • Grew a small team into a larger team through an intensive recruiting program.
