I am passionate about sustainable land management and prioritising the health of our soils - taking care of this precious resource that we rely on for food, green energy and vital ecosystem services. This has led me to my current role at Future Biogas, helping to grow a new phase of subsidy free, farm-based biomethane plants focused on decarbonisation and production of green energy whilst also promoting sustainable food production, biodiversity and soil health. I am a FACTS qualified advisor and a Chartered Scientist through the Institute of Professional Soil Scientists and the Science Council. In 2020, I was elected Chair of the Organics Forum at the Association for Renewable Energy and Clean Technologies, representing the Organics Steering Group and over 200 organics members from across the UK.
