Global thought leader and JAMS Mediator/Arbitrator, Rebekah Ratliff is a credentialed former insurance professional with more than 25 years of experience as a commercial claims professional, responsible for evaluating, negotiating complex casualty claims loss matters, nationwide and internationally, with settlements totaling in the millions. In 2015, she founded Capital City Mediations, LLC, a division of CCM Consulting Associates, LLC, transforming her career landscape into a national mediation, arbitration and DEI consulting firm. Ms. Ratliff now provides mediation, arbitration and neutral analysis through JAMS worldwide. Having a wide range of subject matter expertise, Rebekah is masterful in navigating negotiation points and is an effective facilitator in the mediation process, with an understanding of dispute resolution from the perspective of the payer. Ms Ratliff has become a trusted resource for countless defense and plaintiff lawyers seeking guidance on early settlement evaluation. She is a certified minority business enterprise with NMSDC. Rebekah is the President of the Atlanta Chapter of the National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA) and is active with other leading insurance industry organizations (CLM Alliance). Ms. Ratliff is an Advisor to the African Caribbean Insurance Network (ACIN) and a member of the Insurance Supper Club (ISC) both based in London, UK. She is a member of various legal organizations, holding leadership positions with the National Bar Association as the 2nd Vice Chair of the ADR Section and Vice-chair of the American Bar Association Dispute Resolution Section's Diversity Committee. Ms Ratliff is an internationally sought after presenter, panelist, and lecturer in the insurance and legal industries on DE&I, Case Evaluation, Negotiation and Dispute Resolution. Rebekah is the recipient of various prestigious awards to include, a President’s Volunteer Service Award, Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce Pinnacle Award, and National Bar Association (Small Firms and Solos) Outstanding Service Award. Ms. Ratliff was awarded a 7th U.S. District (IL) Congressional Award for her work in the field of dispute resolution. She has been recognized in the Marquis Who's Who 2020-21 honors, the Insurance Business America (IBA) HOT 100 List 2020 & 2021, Insurance Business America Elite Women 2021 & 2022 and Business Insurance Women to Watch 2021. Rebekah is a native of Chicago, IL, and graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana, holding a degree in Psychology. She is based in Atlanta, GA and operates internationally.
