I have 30 years experience as a behaviour change expert in fields ranging from energy, public transport, agriculture, education to sustainability and preventative health. I enjoy collaborating on research projects with industry and policy-makers to solve real world problems. I am the immediate past president of the Australian Association of Social Marketing and regularly provide policy advice to federal, state and local government on behaviour change strategies (see my website for past and present projects www.research.qut.edu.au/servicesocialmarketing )Social marketing is the application of commercial marketing techniques and strategies to solve social problems such as alcohol abuse, smoking, recycling, environmental management, waters conservation, increasing blood donation and safety. it's a really cool behaviour change approach that puts the citizen in the centre of all strategies. As such, I tend to use service design methods. for social marketing projects visit https://research.qut.edu.au/best/projects/behavioural-change-and-social-marketing/My expertise in social marketing attracts invitations to be a keynote speaker for conferences in diverse areas ranging from healthcare, energy use, technology, social marketing, communication and service delivery. For copies of my research publications visit my QUT eprint site: http://eprints.qut.edu.au/view/person/Russell-Bennett,_Rebekah.htmlSpecialitiesSocial marketingBehavior changeService deliveryHealthEnergyBlood donationPublic transport
