Bio

I am a tech professional on a mission: make people's life easier, provide solutions to everyday problems, help the environment, and make the world a better place than the one I found. I do this with technology and science. That's why I pursued a Ph.D. in geophysics to allow me to understand the earth, the environment, the mathematics behind data science, and research solutions for environmental and energy problems. This allowed me to work for many years as a data scientist in the energy industry providing technical recommendations for complex business problems and influencing data-driven decisions. Today, I work as a CTO at GLOBHE, where we provide earth observation with drones to make the world a better place, help the environment, and contribute to solving the climate crisis with high-resolution imagery. In this role, I grow the tech team, grow our products, make sure we follow the latest tech practices, and most importantly make everybody in the tech team enjoy their work! We are using modern web stacks such as Node.js, React, Gatsby, and Firebase, in addition to working in analytics and creating modern tech solutions to revolutionize the earth observation industry. I feel inspired to work for this company because I know that every code I write is going to improve somebody's life somewhere and bring back a person to his family safe. I wake up every day excited to go to work because we are making a change in the world and we are committed to our cause. I love technology and would love to discuss any type of solution that can make life easier. Check out my website and portfolio: >>> http://rghalayini.github.io/ <<<
