I've been working with software engineering since 2001 mainly as a web developer. Then I moved to software architecture as a primary role in 2008, where I guided less experienced developers with system design, best practices, proof of concepts and quality and delivery processes. The main technology that I worked at the time was with open source projects like Wildfly, Drools, Apache Camel, Spring Framework and so on. Later I moved to strategic customer engagement to deliver a better experience for my customers using Middleware and Cloud products from Red Hat. Most of these daily tasks were connected to problem solving, mainly with OpenShift and poorly performing Middleware applications. I also acted as a team lead, mentoring and guiding new comers and less experienced colleagues with internal processes, writing knowledge base articles and regular daily tasks. Today I work as a software engineer at upstream projects sponsored by Red Hat. In my spare time I like to hang out with my wife, watch movies and series, engage with open source projects, read comic books and play (and sometimes design) old video games.
