I'm a pragmatic and disciplined Engineer and Solution Architect with over 19 years of experience of designing, developing and delivering cloud native, distributed and enterprise systems. I have experience working in a wide variety of industries and technologies and as a result I class myself as a polyglot when it comes to solution design and development. I can bring this breadth of experience to the table when architecting and building new solutions. This includes valuable experience gained whilst working at Microsoft in the mission critical team on how to ''design for operations''. A geek to my core I am constantly excited about new technology, tools, methodologies and how they be applied to design and build better solutions. I have expertese in Distributed Systems, Cloud Native, Kubernetes and Microservice systems/solutions and building internal platforms. Other areas of interest/experience include: * Cloud Solution Design & Development (Azure & AWS) * Go & Python Development * Kubernetes, Cluster API * Kafka (including Kafka Streams) * Enterprise Solution Design & Development (including Microservice based architectures) * Agile Methodologies including SCRUM & Kanban.
