Rob has written every type of software from code to run on small, embedded processors to multi-tier distributed cloud applications. Presently, he manages the DevOps group for Siemens Industry's Digital Service Center. They support a variety of applications and tools for Siemens field organization in North America, including ReST-based collection of services, tools, and databases that support Remote Service Specialists, Digital Service Specialists, Field Technicians, Technical Support personnel and customers via a collection of Building Automation Systems. The team has been involved in the Internet of Things since before it was a thing: 2005.
