I live in a world surrounded by post-it notes outlining problems in the form of loose ideas. Each day, I try to execute those ideas and eliminate the clutter through design. For me, ''good design''​ has served as a creative outlet, a source of constant frustration, a form of therapy, a way to pay rent, and most importantly, my vehicle to a world of unique answers for everyday questions. I've created experiences & aesthetics for some of the most recognizable individuals and corporations in the world. My work has taken the form of mobile applications, branding, packaging, web-design, & consumer merchandise. The visuals I have produced have spanned a wide range of clientele, crafting user stories for markets of all sizes. I have 15 years of experience as a digital designer, experience lead, creative director, and product specialist. I have worked with a broad spectrum of content in a variety of industries including music, publishing, and bio-technology. My most recent position allowed me to contribute hands-on to the growth of an industry leading hardware/software startup, and was the precursor to the founding of my newest venture, Rally Rd. I have created thousands of screens of interactive content for mobile & web, led the design effort for an application platform being utilized by global enterprise leaders, and have worked with over 30 agency partners all over the world training designers on interactive content creation and user experience standards. As a result, the need for a ''why didn't I think of that?'' solution with client needs and budget in mind have always driven my work and the work of the teams I've led. My goal each day is to bring life to meaningful ideas through design and implementation, understand the roadblocks once the concept is implemented, figure out the work around, then establish a set of parameters and repeatable steps to ensure any positive result of my work and the work of my team lives on.
