I have started to work with companies as a Machine Vision Mentor, with the goal of working through a machine vision application from start to finish with a person who wants to become the Machine Vision Resource for that company. So far, it's been rewarding on both sides. Decades of experience in designing and implementing optical metrology systems, including holographic interferomerty systems, moire Interferometry, structured light, 3D imaging and traditional machine vision. Our experience has been applied over a range of applications, including manufacturing, aeronautical, industrial, electronics, rail, medical, energy, and pharmaceutical. My goal is to enjoy what I do, do it well, and feel good about the end result. Working with great people is critical in enjoying what I do. Specialties: High Speed Imaging, Industrial Imaging, Machine Vision (Automated Optical Inspection), LabVIEW, optical system design and integration.
