Rogayeh Tabrizi has a passion for connections and a drive to find the answers. She studied experimental particle physics at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, and worked on the ATLAS Detector at CERN. She earned her PhD in economics as a more effective way to engender positive change in the world, and became fascinated with game theory and the behavioural patterns in social networks. Big data is all in a day's work for a physicist. Uncovering hidden trends and indicators to better serve the customer's needs is a behavioural economist's delight. This unique marriage of skills and every corporation's need to understand their data inspired Rogayeh to co-found Theory & Practice. Rogayeh is passionate about fostering social good. She has worked with a number of non-profit agencies and social networks, including Engineers Without Borders. She is a trusted advisor for Impacton and RightMesh. Rogayeh is a Vancouver resident, a Canadian citizen, and a world traveler. She has a deep knowledge and appreciation of traditional, village-made Persian carpets.
