Rapidly growing cities all over the world are planned functionally but without mobility diversity – a concrete jungle. The dominant part of the transportation thereby is the automobile. This leads to traffic congestion and even to a traffic collapse. The motorized private transportation pollutes the environment with harmful emissions. Therefore, I am passioned in tackling the visible effects of urbanization in an interdisciplinary way, and in working on future solutions to transform sustainable inner-city transportation into rural regions.
