I am a purpose driven sustainability professional, dedicated to creating value and making a positive impact for future generations. I bring experience from across leadership and commercial roles in mission-driven startups, corporates and non-governmental organisations. My career has always had a strong sustainability focus and as Smart's group level Sustainability Director, I am responsible for designing and driving our global sustainability strategy. I joined Smart from a successful consultancy career where I worked on organisational development and strategic change within sustainability focused projects and organisations including UN agencies (UNICEF, UNAIDS and World Food Program), Google, Cherie Blair Foundation for Women and London School of Economics. Prior to that I led strategic CSR partnerships for clients including Barclays, Shell and JP Morgan on behalf of various global non-profits. My work has always had a global focus having worked and lived across Southeast Asia, sub-Saharan Africa and Australia. With an MSc in Environmental Management and Development (sustainability and environmental economics focus), I also bring academic rigour and technical depth to my work.
