I'm an old-school information security guy who was bitten by the hadoop data bug several years ago. I have a penchant for tough, challenging problems, and I appreciate elegant, efficient, scalable solutions to those problems. I'm a strong proponent of the open-source movement and try to contribute back wherever I can. I generally reject the status quo and continually re-evaluate lessons learned from prior challenges and failures. Past responsibilities include: Computer incident response - first responder.
