Fifteen years of professional software development experience. In 2018, I co-founded Attunely -- a venture-backed deep learning startup building foundation models for fintech. We develop behavioral models based on VAEs and deep networks to predict causal outcomes and prescribe optimal consumer outreach. While we started with traditional data science tools such as tree-based methods, curve fitting, and clustering, we eventually saw significantly improved performance with an end-to-end approach involving pre-trained variational autoencoders, resnets and attention. Previously, the CTO at Pioneer Square Labs, and a Principal Engineer at ExtraHop Networks.
