Bio

I start software companies (most recently Material Security) and I love information security, programming, history, analogies, and historical analogies. Material is a crazy awesome security company that protects Google and Microsoft accounts for high-risk VIPs and top global organizations. Before Material I ran infrastructure teams at Dropbox after it acquired my last company, Parastructure. Before that I helped build a company spun out of Stanford by the Department of Defense. I've got two CS degrees from Stanford (where I met my wife) and I'm a proud Midwesterner.
