When I was a little girl, my father encouraged my sisters and me to be inquisitive, ask questions, and always seek to understand how things work. He would give us broken appliances and let us curiously take them apart on the kitchen table to understand how they function. My parents' unwavering encouragement sparked something within me; a lifelong curiosity to question, discover, and understand the world around me; it's no wonder that I ended up studying chemistry, which of course, is all about understanding how things work. Eventually, my career brought me into this exciting world of healthcare. Throughout the years, I've founded multiple life science organizations and actively volunteer as the Chair for the HBA EMEA Region and sit on the global board, of a global non-profit organization dedicated to gender parity, a subject which I am deeply passionate about.
