Saleh Abdullah Lootah has been named among the Top 60 influential leaders by Power Hour 2020 of Construction Business News Middle East and among the Top 100 CEOs by Construction Week. Saleh is the Founding Director of Souq Extra LLC, Managing Director of Al Islami Foods and the CEO and Board member of Lootah Real Estate Development LLC. He currently chairs the Boards of some of UAE’s prestigious and influential organizations: Lootah Capital, Centre Point Logistics, Aman Insurance and Al Farooj Chain of Restaurants. He is also the GCC Board Member for Harvard Business School and the Chairman of Food & Beverage Manufacturing Business Group (FBMG) established under the auspices of Dubai Chamber of Commerce. In an award winning career spanning over 2 decades across Real Estate Development, Food & Beverage Manufacturing & Trading, Islamic Finance and Insurance both locally and at a global scale, Saleh has demonstrated his expertise in running ethical businesses with an emphasis on Innovation, Excellence, thought leadership, and high-performance culture while growing Talent from within. He was instrumental in the implementation of the EFQM Model of Excellence that led to at Al Islami Foods receiving the Dubai Quality Award in 2003, the first ever food company at the time, to win such an award. A sought-after Keynote Speaker, he enjoys sharing his ideas and experiences with the international business community. Speaking at events such as the Agri-business Seminar at Harvard Business School - USA and India in 2004 and 2009. His opinion columns on Real Estate and Food & Beverage Industry appear regularly in highly circulated Arabic and English news mediums. An MBA graduate from California State University, he has also attended the General Management Program and Agri-business from Harvard Business School and the Leadership Program from the IMD University.
