Salman currently serves as CEO at Fidel API, a leading financial infrastructure API provider. With extensive experience across business development, product management, and strategy, Salman is a dynamic leader with domain expertise in consumer and B2B payments, card issuing, and digital payments. Previously, Salman was Marqeta's Senior Vice President and General Manager for North America, where he was responsible for leading and delivering revenue from Marqeta's go-to-market activities in the US and Canada. He joined Marqeta in 2016, among the first 70 employees, and built the company's sales and partnerships organizations along with leading Marqeta's entry into several new verticals and market segments. Before joining Marqeta, Salman held multiple senior roles at Mastercard launching digital products and building partnerships with established and new fintechs. Salman started his career in management consulting, at Booz Allen Hamilton and in the Strategy practice of Deloitte Consulting.
