Over the last 25 years I have had the honor to work with some truly remarkable teams, in a number of industries. These include Finance, HR, Education, back to Finance, and some years doing No-code Development Platforms. During that time, I have worked at companies like ADP, Pearson, Sungard, and some less recognizable names. Together we have delivered solutions from billing platforms to visual programming tools. Through those experiences, my approach to leadership has evolved to facilitating deep ownership in the team, with distributed architectures, collaborative design, and shared accountability. Small teams win and I love enabling them to do great things. A little over three years ago I joined Diameter Health. I am currently Chief Architect for Clinical Solutions at Availity, which acquired Diameter Health. Here I am helping to design next generation architecture, raise awareness about the product capabilities, support sales, and engaging in research into future initiatives. In this last role I have developed a special interest in NLP and healthcare. I am currently advancing standards for AI / NLP outputs as well as investigating how Availity Fusion and NLP can complement each other. Additionally, I am very interested in the impact of Home Hospital and Wearables on the future of healthcare. All this leads to my passion for the Internet of Health: building effective, responsible partnerships between patients, providers, payers, and loved ones to drive better outcomes for all.
