Sam Sidhu is the Chief Executive Officer and President of Customers Bank, the banking subsidiary of Customers Bancorp, Inc. (NYSE: CUBI). Customers Bank is a digital and fintech-forward, top 100 financial institution serving commercial and consumer clients across the nation. Sam’s financial foundation and fintech experience enabled him to guide Customers Bank to record growth. Under Sam’s direction, in 2021, Customers Bank successfully divested BankMobile, created a hybrid fintech banking model to support PPP loans, and launched a white label, turnkey PPP solution to help economic development, community development financial institutions and other organizations provide access to government relief funds. During the same time, Sam worked with leading fintechs to introduce enhanced commercial and consumer products to provide clients with greater convenience. He also led the national expansion of the bank that included introducing commercial services in new markets, including Florida, Texas, the Carolinas, Pennsylvania, and expanding the bank’s presence in Illinois. Sam also directed the teams that introduced new services, including Customers Bank Instant Token (CBITTM) for real-time payments between cryptocurrency and digital asset institutions, the Fund Finance banking group, a broker dealer banking team, and the Technology and Venture banking team.
