Bio

I have expertise in reverse engineering and security assessment using IDA Pro on both common PC software and embedded device firmware across a number of different device architectures such as ARM, MIPS and x86. During the course of my Ph.D. I've developed a number of tools for detecting backdoors and undocumented functionality for large scale use within embedded device firmware taken from consumer devices. Additionally, I have programming experience in a number of languages; I have almost 10 years of experience using C and 6 using OCaml. I'm also proficient in Python, Java and Rust and have experience with C++ and various assembly languages.
