I went to college as a dance major. I wanted to turn my passion for dancing and performing into a career, convinced I could make dancing my profession. The reality of how hard it would be plus the requirements of a dance major that I didn’t love helped me realize I had to find another path and business/marketing was that new path. I landed a summer internship in the world of employee benefits consulting and it led me down a different and unexpected journey. My career officially started working with actuaries and consultants, advising and strategizing with Fortune 50-100 clients on how to provide a competitive health & welfare benefits package to employees. However, I soon realized that the world of billable hours and competing for the next big client was not my passion and decided to take a leap of faith to a small HR technology company where I was able to manage clients and for the first time manage a team. After a successful run of going from individual contributor to leader while also having my first child, I was ready for more and the small company bug had gotten me! So when I had an opportunity to join a benefits administration start up as the 50th(ish) employee I took it! I was able to grow and scale a team of amazing client facing Account Managers. Building this team was a career changing moment and I think of it as my first chance to translate my love of movement and choreograph this team on how to service our clients. After helping transition through an acquisition, I knew another emerging SaaS company was out there that could help me continue to grow as a Client Success leader and benefit from my experience growing and scaling a client facing team. I feel fortunate to have found it at andros (formerly CredSimple). Here I have been able to rebuild a Client Success and Support team and worn with an amazing group of innovators and gritty teammates. We work together as one team to bring value to our clients everyday and assist our partners is navigating the complex and critically important world of Healthcare administration through simplifying the provider data management lifecycle. All of these opportunities have allowed me to grow and learn while doing what I love - working with different types of organizations, providing strategic guidance to clients, serving as a mentor/leader to individual team members and being part of the ever-changing and fast paced world of HR technology. I am also able to find the beauty in the movement of how teams work together, balance each other and lift up one another day in and day out.
