Sarah is a trade and development professional with a background in finance and a regional focus on Sub-Saharan Africa. She has prior experience in Relationship Management, originating deals and arranging appropriate financing methods for South Africa headquartered multinational client groups. Additionally she has background in Debt Capital Markets - coverage of US multinational corporates and select North American financial institutions for issuances in various global bond markets. Sarah is passionate about creating a diverse working environment where individuals get recognized based on merit. She served for over two years as the Chairwoman of the Diversity and Inclusion Council at Standard Chartered Johannesburg and was awarded the UN Sustainable Development Goal champion for South Africa in 2019. Sarah is proficient in Japanese and intermediate in French.
