Sarah is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Onwards HR. Sarah brings over two decades of experience launching SaaS products in the human resource sector at startup and Fortune 500 companies. In 2000, Sarah joined Connecture, a Georgia Tech startup out of the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) incubator. After Healthcare Reform passed, she founded and led their Healthcare Center of Excellence and Government Division. Under her leadership, her the division closed $18 million in the first 12 months, which enabled Connecture to go public in an IPO in late 2014. Sarah had the opportunity to exit Connecture when she was recruited by ADP to lead Healthcare Reform for their newly formed ADP Health Compliance division. At ADP, her team scaled the organization from 2 to 250 employees, onboarding team members and optimizing processes to best support the division's growth. After gaining a wealth of experience, Sarah ventured out on her own in 2016. Soon after, in 2017, Sarah reconnected with a former colleague, Janice Edwards. Together they realized that, although technology exists for many HR processes, there were no separation solutions on the market. Sarah and Janice made it their goal to change this, and their separation solution went live in 2019.
