Running small businesses (my own chocolate shop and a real estate investment corporation) to numerous franchise fund (fee-for-service) organizations with federal and state Governments has given me unique and valuable experience as a leader. Unlike organizations that are funded via appropriations, collaborating to build strong relationships has been crucial to establish reimbursable funding arrangements and contractual agreements supporting my programs. I enjoy all opportunities to interface with diverse organizations such as Executive and Legislative branches, universities, legal counsels, professional networks, and public and private stakeholders. These alliances have proven to me that cohesion is needed between organizations to achieve success, and this can’t occur without a clear vision from leadership down. I designed my current role as Director of Data Analytics and built it from conception to implementation in order to fill in the gaps I observed supporting national programs in finance, supply chain, health care, and financial management business transformation. Being driven by results, I lead the life cycle of product development in accordance with agreed-upon metrics and outcomes using a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) that applies modern business intelligence tools to data from disparate sources. This process provides optics and insights for various organizational business leaders to make informed decisions that promote growth. I am extremely proud that our work has been recognized in 2021 and 2022 as a FedHealthIT Innovation Award winner; nominated for the General Services Administration Federal Chief Data Officer Team of the Year; and I have been shortlisted as a Top 100 Data & Analytics Professional by OnConferences.
