This needs an intuitive mind and a result-oriented attitude which are just some of the key strengths of Seemanta Patnaik who is the Co-founder and CTO of SecurEyes. With close to two decades of experience in the IT and ITES sector, Seemanta has been leading from the front and has played an important role in the growth and development of SecurEyes into a global information security consulting, training and development company. With over eighteen years of experience in Information Security, Seemanta has worked extensively across verticals and has helped several companies meet their cybersecurity goals. After having worked in Japan and the US, Seemanta returned to India to set up SecurEyes. His main areas of expertise include information security governance, end-to-end risk and compliance audits, risk based regulatory supervison and product engineering amongst others. He has vast experience in application security testing, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and security product development apart from Governance, Risk and Compliance including ISO 27001, PCI-DSS and regulatory framework(s) advisory & consulting. Armed with an MCA from Utkal University, Seemanta has completed many industry certifications including the SANS Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), ISO 27001:2013 Lead Auditor course and CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker). Some highlights of his illustrious career before SecurEyes include leading the product innovation team to develop numerous cybersecurity products for Foundstone Inc. (now a part of McAfee) and leading multiple comprehensive assessments and cybersecurity investigations across banks. Seemanta has also provided cybersecurity consultancy for several global clients in the financial sector.
