I have 19 years of private & corporate tax advisory experience, and was a PwC Switzerland tax partner focusing mainly on private clients from developing markets such as Russia, CIS, China, Turkey, and LATAM. At PwC I was leading the International Private Clients Tax & Legal Services team, comprising of multi-national tax experts at PwC Switzerland. I specialize in both private client services and international tax. Starting 1 July 2019, I focus on a new IT startup venture called Xpeer, which is a growing global business marketplace for professional services. Xpeer addresses the needs of businesses of any size by simplifying and digitalizing procurement of business services. In parallel, I remain a trusted advisor to UHNW individuals and families. I assist clients with transitioning to tax compliant structures as well as in setting up sustainable structures for private and business assets. I also have a vast practical experience with controlled foreign company rules in several jurisdictions, as well as with setting up and advising family offices. I see myself as a sparring partner for my clients who has the ability to address not only their professional needs but also help resolve complex personal life issues. Behind every businessman, there is a real person and I stay genuinely focused on what is dear to their heart, whether that concerns a family matter, a business task, or a tax & legal side of an issue. My approach is honest, transparent and direct and I always look at the bigger picture to embrace the entire complexity of a case. As an advisor I do my utmost to sympathize with my client and speak his/her language, and I am a strong advocate for openness and fairness whether times are good or difficult. I am not one for fluffy conversations but would rather cut to the chase in order to use my client’s time as efficient and effectively as possible.
