Shafeeq is an entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience in various management, consulting and leadership roles, having previously worked in trading & risk management solutions for leading banks and trading companies in the UK/EU. He is the MD of BrightMile, which is a London based specialist recruitment firm focussing on mid to senior level recruitment and a co-founder of Sollix Consulting, which provides blockchain solutions to Fintech and traditional financial markets’ businesses in areas of tokenisation, smart contracts, trading & analytics & DeFI. Besides his entrepreneurial ventures and leadership roles, his diverse experience spans work in the non-profit sector with the United Nations & European Commission (EC) in the CIS & West Africa, Executive Search and Consulting & Business Development with start-ups, leading Investment banks, Exchanges, Trading & Utility companies across multiple geographies in Europe, MENA, North America, India & Asia Pac. He is currently based between Dubai and London and is a passionate traveller, fitness-enthusiast and an aspiring writer.
