I head the Financial Services vertical at Truera, a startup dedicated to building trust in Artificial Intelligence. Outside my day job, I am also a member of the Singapore Government's Advisory Council on the Ethical Use of AI and Data, and the OECD Global Partnership on AI (where I co-lead an initiative on the role of technology in increasing data availability for AI for good). I have also served on AI governance practitioner forums at the Bank of England/ FCA and the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Until the end of 2020, I was Group Chief Data Officer at Standard Chartered, having played that role since 2014. I was also the CIO of Enterprise Functions at SCB, leading a $500m, 2500 person team. Before that. I was at McKinsey, serving clients in Financial Services and technology.
