Shane is an experienced leader in design, construction, and innovation of the utility sector. With more than 23 years in the energy industry, Shane has held numerous roles throughout Southern Company. He currently manages teams focused on data analytics, innovation, and connectivity for Alabama Power. Shane is passionate about bringing new technology, innovative ideas, and data analytics into the energy sector. He is a graduate of the Southern Company Leadership Development Program, Experienced Leadership development program, Georgia Tech’s Management of Leadership and Innovation program, and Highlands College Leadership and Ministry program. He serves on the Edison Electric Institute (EEI) Distribution Executive team, Association of Edison Illuminating Companies (AEIC) Data Analytics Council and is active across the industry in committees focused on advancing the industry. He Holds a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering and is a Licensed PE in the state of Alabama.
