For any role I take on, I'm looking to create a partnership with my employer that allows them to utilize my expertise and training as we work together to solve the business issues of today. Using creativity, data analysis, and keeping an eagle-eye on the business environment, I craft and implement solutions to complex problems. I also love breaking down current processes to look for improved efficiencies and document organizational knowledge. My skills in the areas of benefits, compensation, wellness, HRIS, and HR communication have been put to the test in situations that most employers deal with and some hope they’ll never see. This includes involvement in M&A activities (including due diligence), DOL/IRS audits, 401(k) plan corrections (VCP), system implementations, self-funded and fully-insured benefit programs, and all of the alphabet soup issues that HR teams encounter (FLSA, HIPAA, ERISA, ACA, GINA, etc.). I have developed award-winning wellness programs and written open enrollment documents that were actually read! Understanding the culture of an organization and tailoring communications to employees is my secret power.
