Professional with 17 years of experience in the energy sector in an international environment. Currently with a focus on Open Innovation, promoting the agile testing of technologies through alliances with start-ups and/or R&D centers, deploying innovation methodologies and maximizing the involvement in innovation ecosystems aligned with the technology strategic lines. Previously with a focus on CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage), subsurface engineering and process engineering in natural gas technologies (LNG, CNG, hydrates), covering the full chain from upstream to midstream facilities. High involvement in R&D management projects, technological support to engineering projects, as well as in technological risk management and concept selection. Direct experience with intellectual property issues. Acting as an independent expert since 2012 for the European Commission in Programmes for the evaluation of research project proposals and the review of funded and running projects (FP7, H2020, Horizon Europe).
