A communications professional with extensive leadership, strategic and hands-on experience gained working with global Fortune 500 companies, and PR agencies, in a broad range of industry sectors: FMCG, retail, media telecommunications, NGOs and over 15 years in payments. A key feature of my career is that I have worked in many cases with companies that are ‘corporately challenged brands’, ie established brands but with challenges to their corporate perception and reputation. To address these business challenges I have effectively developed and delivered communication strategies, demonstrating my expertise in corporate positioning, media relations, issues and crisis management, thought leadership, corporate responsibility, public affairs and internal communications. I have also worked in international roles for global companies, leading the European communications function in a number of cases.
