Bio

I use AI augmented mixed methods research to make meaning of data from and on humans at work - uncovering sentiment and understanding behavior to better products, services, and programs. I emphasize inclusive and ethical mixed-methods research to answer questions and glean actionable insights to drive decision-making. I currently work as a Research Scientist at Amazon within Global Talent Management. I enjoy creating and leading large global teams and mentoring individuals to reach their fullest potential. I believe STEM and research is for EVERYONE and advocate for DEI in Engineering. I founded ThatStatsGirl to create a community for those who like statistics and apply it to diverse contexts and problems. For example, I use statistics and ML to study employees at tech companies and students in STEM classrooms. I am a part of the Leadership Team at Amazon Women Engineers (AWE). I am also a Member at the Society for IO Psychology (SIOP) and the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE). I serve as Senator at the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and as advisor to the Sisters in STEM (SiS) team.
