Work with GPU architects to provide new HW metrics, driver and runtime architects to design underlying subsystems, and GPA team to architect new analysis types necessary for performance tuning of modern game technologies. Examples include but not limited to: • Architected GPA to support latest APIs (OpenGL, DX11, DX12, Vukan) and systems (Win10, Linux, MacOS, Android) across a range of Intel GPU architectures. • Architected new GPU-CPU synchronization analysis for multi-queue applications, insuring even balancing of work between CPU and multiple HW contexts on Intel Xe architecture. • Designed and delivered new scalable, time-based methodology for rendering performance analysis based on Parallel Execution and high-granularity GPU metrics. Designed high-frequency metrics for Intel GPUs in Miscrosoft PIX (https://devblogs.microsoft.com/pix/hardware-counters-in-gpu-captures/#intelcounters). • Architected GPA Automatic Hotspot Analysis reducing Intel Graphics enabling time for games (Rage 2, GRID, Bloodlines) by ~10x. • Have a long track record of influencing Intel GPU observability features (100+ new metrics across multiple GPU blocks were added). • Authored and architected a novel Real-Time Ray Tracing profiling flow in GPA. Drove its implementation in collaboration with HW and Driver architects. Two patents are accepted for filling in this domain.
