Whether it is K-12 education, higher education, or even surgical residencies, my research has always focused on how assessment can be used to enhance learning. To that end, I have worked with numerous educational institutions, government and non-government organizations to examine how assessment tools and processes can be improved to make learning better. My teaching experience spans from grade 6 to graduate level courses. Most recently, I have been heavily involved in initial teacher education and helping to prepare the next generation of K-12 teachers.
