I have a proven track record in creating novel technologies and architecting radical improvements. Among others, I introduced the first upstream open source hypervisor for the ARM architecture (Xen on ARM) to use hardware virtualization extensions, and lowered the boot time of Xen-based systems by 90%+ with Dom0less. I gave 50+ successful public presentations at technical conferences. I like to nurture and lead cross-company open source collaborations: I am currently working towards meeting stringent safety requirements for Xen on ARM, collaborating with vendors, such as ARM, EPAM, and Renesas. Specialities: Xen Hypervisor, Linux Kernel, Hardware/Software Interfaces, Virtualization & Containers, Technology Leadership, Open Source Strategy, Cross-Functional & C-Suite Collaboration, Standards & Specifications, Hypervisor & Kernel Design, System Software Architecture
