Stenver Jerkku, Founder and CEO of Solid World, is a serial entrepreneur from Tallinn, Estonia - recognized as the Silicon Valley of Europe. He has been in Venture-backed tech for over a decade in multiple growth startups, some of which have become unicorns. His latest venture is Solid World, which brings liquidity to carbon financing. Solid World fixes carbon financing issues by creating diversified carbon offtake agreement pools with 24/7 liquidity, pseudo-insurance through guaranteed delivery, transparent prices, and high curation. It enables project financiers to get risk-adjusted compelling returns on carbon credits while solving the biggest issue in the industry - scaling high-quality supply to the $50B market by 2030. He founded eAgronom and worked there for six years. Starting as the CTO, he built the core SaaS platform that allowed eAgronom to capture over 2.4M acres of farmers in CEE. He then founded the AI agronomy team within the company that used AI to provide farming recommendations. Finally, he became the Chief Blockchain officer. He was directly involved in eAgronom fundraising activities, helping the company to raise nearly €10M. Before eAgronom, he worked at Glia(Unicorn, New York), where he was the 7th hire and helped the company to scale from MVP to post-Series-A. In Glia, he led the massively parallel distributed automated async integration-testing team, various microservice scaling initiatives and service queues. Stenver has also been involved with various impact-focused volunteering organizations, like the Estonian Founders Society, where he lead the board with Martin Villing(Bolt - Unicorn) and Sten Tamkivi(Taavet+Sten - $1B+ fund, Topia, NFT Port). Top Tier Impact, which connects impact-focused investors and entrepreneurs - some members include Ambienta, the world's largest($1B) private equity fund focused exclusively on impact, and Agate €100M impact-focused fund.
