Chief Executive Officer at the CyberPeace Institute (https://cyberpeaceinstitute.org/) Advisory board : Tech4Trust, Global Forum to Cybercrime Expertise (GFCE), CYDIPLO Jean Monnet Network Passionate about the cyber realm and the safekeeping of its peaceful state, I have taken the role of CEO at the CyberPeace Institute to fulfill that mission. Most recently, we have delivered a first of its kind analytical report called: “Playing with Lives: Cyberattacks on Healthcare are Attacks on People.” The last 20 years have served me in expanding my expertise in cyber security as well as in strategic and operational leadership— paving the way to my current command of the field. I have created and fostered partnerships at the crossroads of the internet, cyber security and financial sectors. Additionally, I have provided operational support and strategic services to the academia community, civil society and diplomatic entities, notably by advising senior policy makers and political representatives at the international level and by providing numerous keynote speeches and lectures on topics ranging from cyber threats, counter terrorism, risk management to business continuity and crisis management. As an innovation specialist with a keen interest in digital transformation, I have endeavored and successfully led the set up of three EU flagship bodies focusing on cyber security: The European CyberCrime Centre (EC3), the EU Internet Referral Unit (EU IRU) and the Europol Innovation Lab. I’m actively engaged in other cyber-focused programs and organizations by taking seat in their Advisory Board: Tech4Trust, the Global Forum to Cybercrime Expertise and the CYDIPLO Jean Monnet Network. As a diplomacy enthusiast, I’ve recently become a member of the Diplomatic Club of Geneva. Finally, I’m a believer that creativity is critical to any future looking manager which is why I write and perform theater plays for a (non) living.
