Bio

At Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI), we provide Armed Forces veterans with much needed support through housing, employment opportunities and charitable fundraising. I, myself, am a veteran of 1st Battalion of the Welsh Guards, serving in Northern Ireland, Canada, Belize and the Falklands where I served on the Sir Galahad before being medically discharged on 8th June 1982. My transition returning to civilian life proved extremely difficult, especially with a young family; however, finding RBLI has enabled me to gain a new career, a home for my family and a new purpose in life. I now use my knowledge and experiences to spread the message about the charity’s incredible work as a Veterans Relations and Brand Manager.
