Yes, I have been around and seen much. I have been the CEO of an international management consulting group and was the chief HR officer for four technology companies (leading two of them through IPOs). I earned a JD and a Ph.D. in social/organizational psychology. I held an SPHR certification, and led training programs for SHRM across North America, the Middle East, and South Asia. I served as adjunct faculty at the Boston College School of Management and at UC Santa Cruz extension. But credit for any success goes largely to Ramsey, Joyce, Robert, Mark, Lew, and Dug -- leaders who have inspired and taught me. And who sometimes whupped me up the side of the head.
