In 2000, Steve and his younger brother Jean-Emile launched PIXmania, with the aim to challenge traditional high street retailers by focusing on online sales. The company had been one of Europe's leading eCommerce companies at its peak before being sold off for 266 million euros cash consideration six years later! PIXmania topped one billion euros revenue, operating in 26 countries with 1,500 PIXmaniacs as colleagues. In 2007, Steve and Jean-Emile founded Dotcorp Finance Private Equity Fund (DPEF), a Luxembourg fund. In 2010, Steve and his wife Chiara founded the “Rosenblum Collection&Friends” Contemporary Art Centre in Paris. In October 2016, Steve and his wife Chiara launched the first market test of the brand BAIA BAIA in Bangkok. BAIA BAIA is a fashion brand to empower customers to make their own shoes and bags on the spot by mixing and matching fabrics, colors, and more. Steve and his family decided to relocate to Hong Kong in August 2017 to grow the BAIA BAIA operation. Back in France in September 2019 after 2 years in Hong Kong and 4 years in Singapore, Steve launched Algo-Quant.com. AlgoQuant is a financial research platform based in Paris, focused on the development and execution of systematic trading strategies. AlgoQuant generates trading signals for asset managers. In 2020, new passions arose thanks to the revolutionary technology of the blockchain which decentralizes concepts like trust with its transparency capabilities. Strong believer that blockchains are based a disruptive technology that has the power to upend many industries and change how we live our lives. In 2021, Steve decided to embark on a new adventure and take part in the decentralization revolution for financial services. He creates a new service called Libertify; A SaaS platform that alerts users with personalized one-click actionable investment decisions based on their risk-profile to reduce drawdowns and improve portfolio risk-adjusted performance. In January 2022, Steve and Jean-Emile raised a round of financing (11m€) to relaunch PIXmania with a European marketplace concept targeting all about smartphones and mobility. Steve is born in 1974 in Paris and has French and Canadian citizenship. Steve is married and has 3 daughters. Steve shares several passions: his family, piloting planes (FAA IFR), boating, traveling, reading, music, and contemporary art.
