Bio

Steve is a Founding General Partner of Lavrock Ventures and has served as an investor, founder, and advisor with a wide range of early-stage companies. Prior to founding Lavrock in 2016, Steve spent nearly five years at Blu Venture Investors, a seed-stage investment firm where he was responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, transaction structuring, and portfolio management. He also co-founded Authentag, a software company that provides supply chain security solutions through unique item and identity management for counterfeit prevention, targeted recalls, and granular supply chain visibility. Prior to obtaining his MBA, Steve began his career in roles at BB&T Capital Partners (now Five Points Capital), and GE Capital. Steve has completed venture capital and/or leveraged buyout transactions in cybersecurity, software, higher education, digital media, manufacturing, government contracting, e-commerce, distribution, and other sectors.
