Steven Haft was SVP Innovation at TIME, SVP Strategy at AOL’s $1.2B Ad Sales, produced films DEAD POETS SOCIETY, EMMA,PIRATES OF SILICON VALLEY, HOCUS POCUS and TIGERLAND. He is a Fellow at Prof Clay Cristensen's Disruptor Foundation, Observer at the Paris Accords (COP24,25), long time Climate activist, and a leading figure in media, digital innovation, ESG and civic affairs. He also manages media and climate initiatives at Web3 company CONSENSYS; as well as advising start-ups in Climate Change, blockchain and media. An attorney, Haft has lectured at Columbia University and NYU, Beijing Film Academy, CES, and DLD. Prior to working in technology, Steven ran Haft Entertainment, generating 8 Academy Award nominations; BAFTA, Cesar, Donatello and, for television, 8 Emmy nominations and the Peabody. Steven Haft started in public policy on the staff of The Mayor of New York. He was member of the Founding Team of Earth Day. Haft is a Member of US and UK Motion Picture Academies and Trustee (Emeritus) of The Sundance Institute and formerly the Soros Documentary Fund.
